A meal by itself. The evergreen combination of mushrooms and green peas prepared the chinese way and served on a bed of crispy pan fried noodles makes a perfect main course.

3 cups boiled noodles
2 tbsp oil

For The Vegetables
2 cups mushrooms (khumbh) , sliced
1 cup green peas (parboiled)
1 tbsp garlic (lehsun) , finely chopped
1 to 2 green chillies , finely chopped
3 to 4 tsp soy sauce
1 tbsp cornflour mixed with 1/2 cup water
2 tbsp oil
salt to taste

For the noodles

  1. Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan.
  2. Spread the noodles and cook over a slow flame until the noodles are lightly browned at the bottom. Turn them over gently and cook the other side until the noodles are lightly browned.

For the vegetables

  1. Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan on a high flame, add the garlic and green chillies and fry for a few seconds.
  2. Add the mushrooms and green peas and sauté them for a few minutes.
  3. Mix the soya sauce, cornflour paste and salt and cook till the sauce thickens. Keep aside.

How to proceed

  1. Transfer the noodles onto a serving plate and top with the vegetables.
  2. Serve immediately.

Healthy dish. Stir fried mushrooms and green peas cooked with noodles and soya sauce. A nice healthy option for kids.

Its delicious! the veggies make the dish healthy and the frying makes it incredibly tasty!
