A polenta pizza base topped with onion, capsicum and braised spicy pineapple.

1 recipe Polenta Base
1 cup Tomato Sauce
butter or oil for greasing

For the topping
1 cup pineapple tidbits, cubed
1 large onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
1 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp soy sauce
1/2 cup capsicum cubes
1 tsp butter
1 tsp oil
salt to taste

For the baking
1 cup cooking cheese or mozzarella cheese ,grated


    For the topping

    1. Heat the butter and oil in a saucepan and saute the onion in it.
    2. When the onion turns translucent, add the garlic, ginger and chilli powder and fry for some time.
    3. Then add the soya sauce, capsicum, pineapple and salt and mix together.
    4. Remove from the heat and keep aside.

    How to proced

    1. Place one pizza base on a greased baking tray.
    2. Spread half the tomato sauce on the base.
    3. Top with half the topping and grated cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 15 minutes or till the base is evenly browned.
    4. Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make one more pizza.
    5. Serve hot.
