Shallots and button mushrooms sauteed with oregano.

  1. Heat the butter in a saucepan and saute the oniond in it till they turn light brown.
  2. Add the button mushrooms and cook for some time.
  3. Finally add the Tabasco sauce, oregano and salt and stir.
  4. Serve hot with toothpicks piereced in each mushroom and shallot. Garnished with the chopped spring onion greens.

  1. Always add oregano last, as it becomes bitter if cooked for more time.
