Yummy! Just the sight of these scrumptious stuffed mushrooms makes your mouth water. Dainty button mushrooms are stuffed with a flavourful mixture of onions, cheese, coriander, etc., and baked till the cheese melts and fuses the stuffing with the mushrooms. You will note that this arrangement tends to release a little water when baked, but not to worry, you will get eventually get the perfect texture upon baking. Preparation Time:    Baking Temperature:  200°C (400°F)   Baking Temperature:  15 minutes   Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 12 stuffed mushrooms.

Ingredients
12 fresh button mushrooms (khumbh)

To Be Mixed Together For The Stuffing
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1/4 cup grated processed cheese
salt to taste
Method
  1. Remove and discard the stems from the mushrooms. Wash the mushroom caps and keep aside.
  2. Stuff 1 tsp of the prepared filling into each mushroom cavity.
  3. Place them on a greased baking tray and bake them in a pre-heated oven at 200°c (400ºf) for 10 minutes.
  4. Serve immediately.
