Mushrooms stuffed with a delicious onion and cheese mixture and baked to perfection, make an ideal starter.

10 large fresh mushrooms (khumbh)
1 tsp butter

To Be Mixed Together For The Stuffing
1 onion , chopped
1 slit green chilli , chopped
1/2 cup chopped coriander (dhania)
1/2 cup grated processed cheese
salt to taste

  1. Remove and discard the stems from the mushrooms. Wash the mushroom caps and place them on a greased baking tray, hollow side facing upwards. Keep aside.
  2. Divide the stuffing mixture into 10 equal portions and stuff each portion into the empty mushroom cavities.
  3. Bake them in a pre-heated oven at 200°c for 10 minutes.
  4. Serve hot.
