Yummy! Just the sight of these scrumptious stuffed mushrooms makes your mouth water. Dainty button mushrooms are stuffed with a flavourful mixture of onions, cheese, coriander, etc., and baked till the cheese melts and fuses the stuffing with the mushrooms. You will note that this arrangement tends to release a little water when baked, but not to worry, you will get eventually get the perfect texture upon baking. Enjoy the Onion, Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms fresh out of the oven.

12 fresh button mushrooms (khumbh)

To Be Mixed Together For The Stuffing
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1/4 cup grated processed cheese
salt to taste

  1. Remove and discard the stems from the mushrooms. Wash the mushroom caps and keep aside.
  2. Stuff 1 tsp of the prepared filling into each mushroom cavity.
  3. Place them on a greased baking tray and bake them in a pre-heated oven at 200°c (400ºf) for 10 minutes.
  4. Serve immediately.

Mushroom stuffed with onion and cheese, the gooey cheese just melts in the mouth. A good starter recipe. have this mushrooms when just out of the oven.
