These yummy chilas are made using ragi, jowar and whole wheat flour.

1/3 cup jowar (white millet) flour
1/3 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1/3 cup ragi (nachni / red millet) flour
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
1 small green chilli , finely chopped
salt to taste
2 tsp oil for greasing and cooking

  1. Combine all the ingredients together in a bowl, add enough water to make a thin batter and divide into 8 equal parts.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan and grease it lightly with oil.
  3. Spread a portion of the batter to form a circle of 4 mm. Thickness.
  4. Cook on both sides till golden brown, using a little oil.
  5. Repeat with the remaining batter to make 7 more chilas.
  6. Serve hot.

These are soft, wholesome chillas made from jowar, whole wheat and ragi. Quick to make and have with green chutney.
