Noodles and Vegetables in Curry Sauce ( Noodles)

A thai variation of the popular burmese khowsuey, here the noodles and vegetables are combined with a fiery thai curry sauce.

For The Curry Sauce
1 cup coconut milk
1 tbsp red chilli paste
1 tsp tamarind (imli) pulp
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp roasted peanuts , chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
salt to taste

Other Ingredients
2 1/2 cups boiled noodles
1/2 cup bean sprouts
3/4 cup blanched broccoli florets
2 tsp oil
salt and freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) to taste

For the curry sauce

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a small pan and simmer till the mixture thickens a little. Keep aside.

How to proceed

  1. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan, add the noodles, bean sprouts, broccoli, salt and pepper and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute.
  2. Pour the curry sauce over the vegetables and serve immediately.
