A traditional coconut flavoured Indian dessert, naryal pak is made from freshly grated coconut,mawa and sugar. The naryal or coconut pak makes every occasion a special one!

Ingredients

Method

  1. Heat the grain sugar, saffron & some water to consistency where it forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water with a teaspoon.
  2. Add freshly grated coconut, mashed khoya & crushed cardamom and cook on low flame till the khoya smoothly mixes with the sugar.
  3. Transfer to a lightly greased thali and flatten to about ½ inch thickness.
  4. When slightly cool cut into desired shapes, diamond, rounds or squares .
