Ingredients

Method
  1. Heat the ghee in a broad non-stick pan, add the ragi flour and cook on a slow flame for 4 to 5 minutes or till it turns golden brown in colour, while stirring continuously.
  2. Remove from the flame, add the sugar and mix well.
  3. Add the cardamom powder, and mix well.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased plate and spread it evenly and keep aside for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Refrigerate for 15 minutes and keep at room temperature for 5 minutes.
  6. Scrape the ladoo mixture using a spoon, divide into 12 equal portions and roll each portion into a round ball.
  7. Roll each ladoo in poppy seeds till they are evenly coated from all the sides.
  8. Store in an airtight container.

Excellently balanced flavors... the aroma that filled my kitchen while making it was unbelievable... the roasted nachni flour and the poppy seeds add a great crunch to the ladoos... was quick to make and well to finish too...
