I am a twenty-seven-year-old creative writer and poet, living in a fantasy state-of-mind, in Maryland - USA. I co-own a home bakery project Sara's Baked Creations with my sister Sara. I'm a late 80's kid which explains the 'rockstar' attitude. I like describing myself as a Sister-Mom because I am Mommie #2 for Sara. A Home Chef - I cook for the family, too! The first I ever cooked was for a Girl Guides' cooking challenge in eighth grade. For real, I started cooking sometime around 2007 / 2008 as a hobby. Came 2010 and I took over as the Home Chef, and I haven't set fire to the ol' place - not once! We are a brown family so we take our cooking seriously. Our houses smell of curries. Besides heavy Desi cooking, I am always trying and creating sugar-free, low G.I., low-fat, and health conscious food.

I absolutely love Indian Curry Leaf which is located in Laurel, Maryland. They have the perfect Halal, vegetarian and non-veg cuisine. Lunch is always a buffet with more than 10 entrees plus dessert.

Indian / Pakistani is my ultimate love. But I equally fawn over Italian cuisine.
