Although you can pop in any combination of fruits into the hopper and turn out a healthy glassful, it helps to choose fruits that balance each other, so you can avoid adding sugar. That perfect balance is what makes the Muskmelon, Apple and Green Grapes Juice a super hit! Energy-giving yet fibre-rich, this one is a great choice for weight-watchers too. When grapes are not in season, you can add orange or sweet lime for tang.

Ingredients


Hopper Method
1 cup muskmelon (kharbooja) cubes
1 cup apple cubes (unpeeled)
3/4 cup green grapes

Method
  1. Add the muskmelon cubes, apple cubes and green grapes a few at a time in the hopper.
  2. Pour equal quantities of the juice into 2 individual glasses.
  3. Serve immediately.

Juicer method

  1. This combination does not turn out well in a juicer because the texture of the ingredients are hard.

A good combination of apples and tomatoes…Everyone in my family loved and appreciated the uniqueness of this recipe. It’s like an instant energy booster to start your day. I always have this drink when I really do not have time for an elaborate breakfast.
