Mushroom fry is a novel mushroom recipe and accompanied with specific masalas work wonders to our taste buds. Mushroom fry is a tasty and colorful dish which can be served with roti or parantha.

Ingredients

20 button mushrooms (khumbh)
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/4 cup sliced onions
salt to taste
2 tsp oil

Method
  1. Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions and saute till they turn golden brown.
  2. Add the mushrooms, turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt, mix well and cover and cook for 15 minutes.
  3. Serve hot.
