Ingredients


2 tsp oil
2 tsp butter
1/2 cup raw onion paste
1 cup blanched and grated tomatoes
2 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp pav bhaji masala
salt to taste
1 cup boiled, peeled and mashed potatoes
1 cup chopped and boiled mixed vegetables (carrots, cauliflower and green peas), mashed
2 cups boiled sprouted moong (whole green gram)

For the garnish
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)

For serving
8 ladi pavs

Method
  1. Heat the oil and butter in a kadhai (griddle), add the onion paste and sauté till it turns light brown in colour.
  2. Add the tomatoes, chilli powder, pav bhaji masala, salt and ¼ cup of water and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes.
  3. Add the potatoes, mixed vegetables, moong sprouts and coriander and simmer for another 5 to 7 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  4. Serve hot with ladi pav.
