Method
  1. Soak the moong dal overnight.
  2. Next day, grind the soaked dal and the green chillies in a liquidiser.
  3. Add the cabbage, onion, asafoetida, gram flour, soda bi-carb, lemon juice, coriander and salt. Keep aside for 1 hour.
  4. Spread a little moong dal mixture on each bread slice.
  5. Cook in a non-stick frying pan with the help of a little butter.
  6. Cut into small pieces and serve hot with chutney ot tomato ketchup.
