Mixed Vegetables in Creamy Sauce is a dish that is sure to pamper your palate with its luscious texture and appealing flavour. Colourful and juicy veggies are sautéed with flavourful ingredients like green chillies and onions, and cooked with white sauce.
The white sauce should neither be too thick or too thin, in order to get the right consistency. A dash of pepper is all that is needed to boost the taste of this delectable dish, which is fabulously creamy even without any cream or cheese being added to it! Enjoy it hot, with Butter Naan or Garlic Bread .
- Heat the butter in a broad non-stick pan, add the onions, green chillies and garlic paste and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
- Add the vegetables and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
- Add the white sauce, little salt and pepper, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot with butter naan or garlic bread.
