Mixed Vegetable Chutney

Tasty for dipping for vadas, chapathis, hot rice with ghee. Even idlis, dosas for a change rather the same old coconut chutney.
- Heat the oil in a kadhai and add the cumin seeds.
- When the seeds crackle, add the vegetables, tomatoes, tamarind , ginger, garlic, green chillies, onion and saute till the vegetables are cooked.
- Blend in a mixer till smooth.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Store refrigerated.
