Ingredients

Method
  1. Wash the masoor, add 2 teacups of water and the whole onions and cook in a pressure cooker.
  2. Heat the ghee in a vessel and fry the sliced onions for 3 minutes.
  3. Add the paste and fry for 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked masoor and salt.
  5. After 5 minutes,add the tomatoes. Cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, sprinkled with chopped coriander.

Tips
  1. This is a standard curry masala. Any vegetable or lentils comes out well if cooked the same way.
