Ingredients


300 gms boiled sweet corn
8 to 10 baby onions
10 to 12 small new potatoes
1 onion, chopped
1 capsicum, chopped
1 tomato , chopped
1 tsp chilli powder
3 chopped green chillies
3 tsp vinegar
3 tbsp oil
salt to taste
ghee for deep frying
chopped spring onions to garnish

To be ground into a chilli-ginger paste
4 green chillies
1 onion, chopped
12 mm. piece ginger (adrak)

Method
  1. Boil the whole onions in salted water until tender.
  2. Heat the ghee and deep fry the potatoes until golden.
  3. Heat the oil and fry the chopped onion for a few mintues.
  4. Add the paste and fry for a few more minutes.
  5. Add the capsicum, tomato and chilli powder and fry for at least 3 to 4 minutes.
  6. Add the corn, cooked onions, potatoes, green chilles, vinegar and salt and cook for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Sprinkle spring onions on top.
  8. Serve immediately.
