Mayonnaise being high in calories may be on the no-no list of the health-conscious; hence, i have made this low-cal version using whole wheat bread and curds. It tastes better than the original version, believe me! now you can relish this spread without any guilt and gain loads of proteins in the bargain.

Ingredients

4 pcs whole wheat bread slices
1 cup hung low-fat curds (dahi)
1 tbsp fresh low-fat curds (dahi)
1 1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1 tsp mustard (rai / sarson) powder
3/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper powder
1 tbsp olive oil or refined oil
salt to taste

Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients and blend in a mixer till smooth.
  2. Store refrigerated and use as required.
