A healthier version of all- time favourite sweet treat- " custard". Made using low-fat milk and sugar substitute it makes a guilt-free dessert.

Ingredients

1 tbsp custard powder
1 1/2 cups low-fat milk (99.7% fat-free)
1 tbsp sugar substitue
of vanilla essence

Method
  1. Combine the custard powder and 1/2 cup of milk in a bowl and mix well till no lumps remain. Keep aside.
  2. Combine the remaining 1 cup of milk and sugar substitute in a non- stick pan, mix well and bring to boil.
  3. Add the custard powder mixture, mix well and simmer till it thickens. Keep aside to cool.
  4. When cool, add the vanilla essence and mix well. Keep refrigerated till use.
