The sugar can be adjusted according to the sweetness desired
1 bunch lemon grass (lili chai)
1 tbsp lemon juice
sugar approx 8 table spoons (if low cal 6 sachets equal)
ginger 2" x 2" pcs
pinch of rock salt (sanchal)
pinch of pepper powder
5 glasses water
crushed ice and slices of lemon to serve
- Wash the lemongrass well and roughly chop , add ginger,salt,pepper,lemon juice & sugar or equal,add 1 glass of water and blend well in a mixie , strain thru a fine strainer or muslin cloth add the remaining 4 glasses of water and chill , you can serve in rim coated in sugar tall glasses with a slice of lemon and crushed ice
