Lemon and Ginger Squash

This is a very good home made squash. I always make lemon squash but i tried with ginger and it tasted very good. This is squash, so while drinking use 1/4th glass of squash and 3/4th glass of water.

Makes 2 bottles

500 ml fresh lemon juice
100 ml ginger (adrak) juice
1 1/4 kgs sugar
500 ml water

  1. Take a heavy bottomed pan and put water ,when the water becomes hot add sugar and stir continuously till sugar melts and cook for 5 minutes and keep aside.
  2. When the water and sugar solution becomes warm add the lemon juice and ginger juice and mix well.
  3. Cool and transfer in a glass bottle and keep in the refrigerator.
  4. While serving mix 1/4 glass squash and 3/4th glass water.
  5. Serve chilled.
