No time? its koki time! made of whole wheat flour, this paratha has a nice crunch of sprinkling of onions and enough masala to make it a meal by itself. Just smear some butter, roll it up tightly and get chomping on your breakfast on the move!
- Sift the flour and salt into a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients, mixing enough water to make a stiff dough.
- Knead the dough lightly, then divide into 8 equal portions. Roll out each portion into a circle measuring about 75 mm. (3") in diameter.
- Place one dough at a time on the tava and spoon ghee round the edges. While cooking, prick holes in the koki, cook until both sides are golden brown in colour.
- Serve hot.
