Ingredients

Method
  1. Sift the flour and salt into a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients, mixing enough water to make a stiff dough.
  2. Knead the dough lightly, then divide into 8 equal portions. Roll out each portion into a circle measuring about 75 mm. (3") in diameter.
  3. Place one dough at a time on the tava and spoon ghee round the edges. While cooking, prick holes in the koki, cook until both sides are golden brown in colour.
  4. Serve hot.
