- Combine the spinach, ginger-garlic paste, green chillies, asafoetida and salt in a pressure cooker, add little water and steam for five minutes or till the spinach is cooked.
- In a another bowl, combine the besan and buttermilk and whisk well.
- Add this to the spinach mixture and simmer for 30 minutes till the besan is cooked.
- Serve hot.
