A delightful combination of two things children love - jam and biscuits.

Ingredients

Method
  1. Sieve the flour, salt and cornflour together.
  2. Rub in the margarine with finger tips,
  3. Add the sugar and mix well.
  4. Add just enough milk to make a dough.
  5. Roll out the dough into about 6 mm. (1/4") thickness.
  6. Cut with a round biscuit cutter.
  7. In every alternate biscuit, make a hole in the centre with about 12 mm. (1/2") nozzle.
  8. Grease and dust a baking tin and arrange the biscuits in it.
  9. Bake in a moderate oven at 350°F for 25 minutes.
  10. Shake the biscuits immediately when they are cooked.
  11. Cool the biscuits.
  12. Make pairs of one biscuit with hloe and one without and sandwich with jam.
