Ingredients



For the sweet and sour dressing
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp powdered sugar
1/2 tsp freshly crushed black pepper (kalimirch)
1 tsp dried oregano
salt to taste

Other ingredients
oil for deep-frying
1 cup broken instant noodles
1/4 cup finely chopped spring onion greens
1/4 cup thinly sliced spring onions whites
1 cup iceberg lettuce, torn into pieces

Method

    For the sweet and sour dressing

    1. Put all the ingredients in a small bottle, close the lid and shake well.
    2. Store in a cool place.
    3. Shake again just before use

    How to proceed

    1. Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep-fry the noodles in it till golden brown in colour. Drain on absorbent paper and keep aside.
    2. Combine all the ingredients including the fried noodles in a mixing bowl, pour the dressing on top and toss well.
    3. Serve immediately.
