Simple, fuss-free and delicious: the best way to describe this salad. It is a crisp and tangy salad with basic indian flavours from chaat masala, coriander and lemon juice. Serve this as a salad, or serve this as a snack if you are watching your weight. It is extremely filling and healthy. However ensure not to over cook the sprouts.

Ingredients

1 cup mixed sprouts (moong , chana ,
rajma (kidney beans) etc.)
1/2 cup grated coconut
1/2 cup finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1/2 cup grated carrot
1 1/2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp chaat masala
salt and freshly ground black pepper powder to taste

For The Garnish
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)

Method
  1. Combine the mixed sprouts along with 3 cups of water and pressure cook for 3 whistles.
  2. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid and cool slightly.
  3. Combine all the remaining ingredients, including the mixed sprouts in a bowl and toss well.
  4. Serve immediately garnished with coriander.
