A tangy and taste bud tingling idli chaat makes for an excellent snack item using left over idlis. The idlis are chopped and then tossed with imli chutney, chaat masala,beaten curd, chopped onion and green chillies. Truly an innovative recipe with south indian idlis served as a typical north indian chat.

10 to 12 idlis cut into small pieces
2 boiled potatoes
2 diced onions
1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
green chutney to taste
imli ki chutney to taste
finely chopped green chillies
nylon sev for garnishing
chopped coriander (dhania) for garnishing

  1. Arrange the idlis on a serving plate.
  2. Top with remaining ingredients and serve immediately.
