A rich, delicious and energy dense snack opting, the Honey fruit nuggets are sweet crunchy and loaded with health benefits. The boiled apricots bad prunes are mixed with figs, dates and wheat flakes. These nuggets are then rolled up into balls and enjoyed chilled rolled in coconut or chopped nuts.

Ingredients


1/4 cup dried pitted prunes
1/4 cup dried apricots (kummani / jardalu)
1/4 cup dried figs (anjeer)
1/4 cup pitted dates (khajur)
1/3 cup wheat-flake cereal; (1 cup uncrushed)
1/4 cup honey
1/2 bitter chocolate, melted
non-stick cooking spray
coconut or chopped mixed nuts for rolling

Method

  1. Let prunes and apricots stand in boiling water for 5 minutes. drain. put all fruit through food chopper and blend with crushed cereal. blend in honey and melted chocolate. spray hands with non-stick cooking spray or oil and shape mixture into 1-inch balls. roll in coconut or chopped nuts. chill
