Honey chilli potato is sweet and spicy starter.

For The Batter
2 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
salt to taste

To Be Mixed To Make Honey Sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp chilli sauce
2 tbsp tomato sauce
salt to taste

Other Ingredients
1/2 cup cauliflower , florets
1 cup potatoes , cut into fingers

For the batter

  1. Combine the plain flour, soya sauce, ginger-garlic paste, salt and water to make a thick paste. Keep aside.

How to proceed

  1. Dip the cauliflower and potatoes in the prepared batter and deep-fry it till it turns golden brown from all the sides. Remove on absorbent paper. Keep aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan add the honey sauce and fried potatoes and cauliflower, mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Serve hot.
