Liken this dip to pizza sauce if you will because it has got all the delightful italian herbs, tangy tomatoes and molten cheese as well, but it tastes just too good with toasted triangles.

Ingredients

Method
  1. Cut the tomatoes into thick slices. Place them on a greased baking tray and sprinkle the herbs and salt over them.
  2. Bake in a pre-heated oven for 5 minutes at 150ºc (300ºf) or microwave on high for 2 minutes.
  3. Remove, peel and roughly chop the tomatoes. Keep aside.
  4. Heat the milk, cheese and cream in a pan till the cheese melts.
  5. Mix the cornflour with 3 tablespoons water and add it to the pan. Cook till the mixture thickens.
  6. Remove the sauce from flame and mix in the tomatoes.
  7. Serve hot with toasted bread and breadsticks.

This dip is perfect to start a party with...serve it with bread sticks or tortilla chips or even toasted bread..it will all taste great...this dip is little tangy so i did add a pinch of sugar and it made all the difference...my guest loved this dip....
