Ingredients

Method
  1. Mix the gram flour, curds and 2 cups of water. Whisk well so as to remove all the lumps.
  2. Add the chilli-ginger paste, curry leaves, sugar and salt and put to boil while stirring continuously.
  3. Heat the oil in another pan and add the cumin seeds and mustard seeds. When they start crackling add the asafoetida and red chilli.
  4. Add the tempering to the kadhi.
  5. Add the dill leaves and boil for a few minutes and serve hot.

Tips
  1. If the curds are sour add ¼ cup of milk to the kadhi and reduce the quantity of water.
