Paneer is an all time favourite with everyone. . . And this recipe is bound to get tongues on fire with its exquisite blend of tastes!

1 cup low fat paneer (cottage cheese) cubes
4 spring onions with greens , finely chopped
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp chilli sauce
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp lemon rind
3 cloves (laung / lavang) grated garlic (lehsun)
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
2 tsp oil
salt to taste

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Allow marinating for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Arrange the paneer cubes neatly onto 4 wooden skewers and grill them over a charcoal or electric barbecue till they are lightly browned on all sides. You can also cook them on a non-stick pan.
  3. Serve hot.
