Ingredients


500 gms fresh green peas with pods
2 cups White Sauce
salt and black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste

To serve
fresh cream
bread croutons

Method
  1. Put the peas with pods and 4 teacups of water in a pressure cooker and cook until soft.
  2. Blend in a liquidiser and strain.
  3. Add the white sauce, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly.

Tips
  1. Serve hot topped with fresh cream and bread croutons.
  2. Note : Be sure to use very fresh peas in pods. If not in season, use 1 teacup frozen green peas.
