Citric acid is available in the form of a fine, white, shiny, powder or clear crystals. It does not have any aroma but has a pleasant, sour, acidic taste.
Use:
The grains of citric acid are sprinkled into chiwdas or snacks. When made into a solution, they can be added to rice, lentils or vegetables. Citric acid is a good substitute for lemon juice.
How to store:
It keep well when dry. If it gets wet, it is liable to go mouldy.
