Ingredients


2 tbsp grated ginger (adrak)
4 cups milk
4 tsp sugar
3 to 4 mint leaves (phudina) for the garnish

Method
  1. Combine the ginger and 3 cups of water in a pan and bring to boil.
  2. Lower the flame and simmer for 10-15 minutes until a hot yellow liquid is formed. Strain and keep aside.
  3. Boil the milk in a pan.
  4. Remove from the flame, add the strained liquid and sugar and mix well.
  5. Serve hot garnished with mint leaves.
