If you like chocolate sauce, you will like this even better. Fudge sauce is a nice and thick sauce made of chocolate and honey. It can be made in advance and stocked in the refrigerator for use in recipe like crêpes belle helen. When you need to use the sauce, you can melt it in a microwave or double boiler. Fudge sauce is quite easy to make and definitely worth a try. You are sure to love it.
- Combine the butter, sugar and ½ cup of hot water in a broad non-stick pan and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes or till the sugar melts completely, while stirring continuously.
- Add the honey and chocolate, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes of till the chocolate melts completely, while stirring continuously. Keep aside to cool for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add the vanilla essence and mix well.
- Use as required.
