Ingredients

For The Vanilla Custard
3 cups milk
4 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp vanilla flavoured custard powder

For The Chocolate Custard
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tbsp drinking chocolate powder
4 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tbsp cornflour

For The Cream Mix
1 cup fresh cream
4 tbsp sugar
4 tbsp milk powder

Other Ingredients
2 tbsp strawberry crush
1/2 cup crumbled chocolate sponge cake
5 to 6 marie biscuits
1 cup chopped mixed fruits

For Garnishing
chocolate vermicilli
gems
wafer biscuits
cherries
Method

for the vanilla custard

    for the vanilla custard
  1. Dissolve the custard powder in 2 tbsp of cold milk, mix well and keep aside.
  2. Heat the remaining milk in a deep pan, add the sugar, mix well and bring to a boil.
  3. Add the custard powder mixture, while stirring continuously, mix well and cook on a medium flame till the mixture becomes thick.
  4. Remove from the flame and keep aside.

For the chocolate custard

  1. Dissolve the corn flour in 2tbsp of cold milk and keep aside.
  2. Heat the remaining milk in a deep pan, add the cocoa powder, drinking chocolate powder and sugar, mix well and bring to a boil.
  3. Add the disolved corn flour and cook while stirring till the mixture becomes thick and keep aside.

For the cream mix

  1. Combine the cream, milk powder, sugar in a pan, mix well and keep aside.

How to proceed

  1. Take 4 individual bowls and put equal quantities of strawberry crush at the bottom followed by a layer of cake crumbs.
  2. Pour the cream mix on the cake crumbs to make a layer.
  3. On this cream layer arrange chopped mixed fruits.
  4. Pour the vanilla custard on the mixed fruits.
  5. Again put some strawberry crush on the mixed fruits.
  6. Place 2 marie biscuits on the strawberry crush.
  7. Then pour chocolate custard on the marie biscuits.
  8. Keep in the refrigerator for 10 minutes, remove and pour some cream mix.
  9. Sprinkle some chocolate vermicelli, gems and place a cherry in the centre and place a wafer biscuit on the side.
  10. Serve chilled.
