Ingredients


For the crust
6 tbsp crushed marie biscuit
4 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp sugar

For the filling
1 packet (100 grams) orange jelly or raspberry jelly
1 cup chopped fresh mixed fruits

For decoration
100 gms (4 oz.) fresh cream
2 tbsp powdered sugar

Method
For the crust

  1. Mix the biscuits, butter and sugar very well and press evenly into a 200 or 225 mm. (8" or 9") diameter loose bottom flan tin.
  2. Place in the refrigerator until firm.

For the filling

  1. Dissolve the jelly in 3 teacups of boiling water. Place over ice and stir continuously.
  2. When the jelly gets thicker, add the chopped fruit while stirring continuously.

How to proceed

  1. Pour the jelly mixture over the biscuit crust and put to set in the refrigerator.
  2. Just before serving, beat the cream with the sugar.
  3. Cut into slices and serve with the sweetened cream.
