Ingredients


3/4 cup plain flour (maida)
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp oil
oil for deep-frying

Method
  1. Sieve the flour with the salt.
  2. Add the oil and mix well.
  3. Add enough water to make a soft dough.
  4. Divide the dough into 3 parts.
  5. Roll out with the help of a little flour as thinly as possible.
  6. Cut into long thin strips with a sharp knife.
  7. Deep fry in hot oil.

Tips
  1. In our markets, we cannot buy fried noodles and at the same time, the noodles which we can buy do not become really crisp on frying.
  2. The traditional method of preparing noodles is too tedious for the housewife. The following special method is a much easier practical short-cut.
  3. You can prepare fried noodles using this method well in advance and store it in air-tight container for later use.
