Curds are rich in intestine-friendly bacteria that protect it from infection. It is used as an accompaniment for meals and in various food preparations like raita, sweets etc. Here is a low fat version that you can relish without counting the calories!

Ingredients

1 ml low fat milk
(99.7% fat-free , readily available in the market)
1 tbsp curds (dahi)

Method
  1. Warm the milk.
  2. Add the curds, mix well and cover.
  3. Keep aside until the curds set (approx. 5 to 6 hours).
  4. During the cold climate, place inside a casserole or closed oven to set.
