Fig and Apricot Shake is best had early in the morning for breakfast as your body conserves more nutrients at this time of the day. Packed with iron, fibre, calcium, vitamin A, natural sugar and protein, these dry fruits will provide you with energy and will also satiate your hunger.

Ingredients

Method
  1. Soak the figs and apricots in ¼ cup of warm milk for at least ½ hour.
  2. Combine the soaked figs and apricots (with the milk), remaining 1 cup of milk, ice-cubes and sugar and blend in a mixer till smooth and frothy.
  3. Pour equal quantities of the shake into 2 individual glasses.
  4. Serve immediately garnished with almonds.

I have tried making many types of milkshakes. But had never tried this combo of dry fruits. Thanks for this delicious recipe Tarla aunty.
