Quick pasta flavoured with walnuts and baby corn and a mild aroma of basil, parsley and nutmeg gives the perfect taste to the dish.

Ingredients

3 cups cooked fettuccine
4 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
3 garlic (lehsun) cloves , finely chopped
1/4 cup finely chopped tomatoes
1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts (akhrot)
1 cup boiled and sliced baby corn
2 tbsp finely chopped parsley
2 tbsp finely chopped basil
a pinch nutmeg (jaiphal) powder
salt and freshly ground black pepper powder to taste
3 tbsp grated parmesan cheese for garnishing

Method
  1. Heat the oil in a broad pan, add the onions and garlic and sauté on a medium flame till the onions turn translucent.
  2. Add the tomatoes, walnuts and baby corn and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the fettuccine, parsley, basil, nutmeg, salt and pepper and toss well.
  4. Serve hot garnished with cheese.
