Energy Salad recipe - How to make Energy Salad

1/2 medium cauliflower
4 dates (khajur), chopped
1 banana, sliced
1 orange, segmented
2 red apples, unpeeled and cubed
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp grated lemon rind
1/2 tbsp oil
1/2 tbsp vinegar
salt and black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste

For the orange dressing
1/3 cup thick fresh yoghurt
4 tsp orange juice
1/2 tsp mustard (rai / sarson) powder
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
a pinch of salt
  1. For the orange dressing, mix all the ingredients very well and chill.
  2. Break the cauliflower into small florests, then steam for 5 minutes. Cool.
  3. Combine the oil, vinegar,salt and pepper. Marinate the cauliflower in this mixture.
  4. Mix all the ingredinets in the bowl. Chill. Serve with orange dressing.
