Eggless waffle is a simple recipe to prepare the crispy baked waffles without eggs. Serve the waffles with honey or maple syrup.

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
640 ml milk
1/4 tsp vanilla essence
400 gms self raising flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
50 gms powdered sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
butter or oil for greasing

Method
  1. Combine the butter, milk and vanilla essence in a bowl and whisk thoroughly. Keep aside.
  2. Sieve the flour, salt and soda three times in a bowl.
  3. Add the sugar.
  4. Add the milk mixture gradually (1/4 cup at a time), stirring continuosly to make a smoth batter.
  5. Add the lemon juice and mix well.
  6. Gently spread the batter on the preheated and greased waffle trays.
  7. Close, cover and bake for 6-10 minutes.
  8. Repeat the same process with for the remaining batter.
  9. Serve hot.

This recipe makes the most amazing waffles one can make without eggs...actualy the outcome is quite comparable to the latter...the lemon juice is a great idea!!!
