A tasty and simple paratha recipe made of a mix of flour and besan with leftover veggies and other spices.

Easy Masala Paratha recipe - How to make Easy Masala Paratha

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     4Makes 4 to 5 parathas

Ingredients
1 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1/2 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
1 cup leftover vegetable
1 cup leftover dal
1/4 cup chopped coriander (dhania) leaves
1 tbsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
1/4 tbsp carom seeds (ajwain)
1/4 tbsp cumin seeds (jeera)
salt to taste
oil for cooking
1 tbsp butter for serving
Method
    Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients, mix well and knead into a smooth dough, adding water if required.
  2. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll out each portion into a circle of 6" diameter.
  3. Heat a tava and cook each paratha, using little oil, till golden brown spots appear on both the sides.
  4. Serve hot with white butter or curds.
