Dry Figs and Banana Smoothie ( Weight Loss After Pregnancy )

Dried figs and banana smoothie, a filling mid-morning snack, this smoothie uses naturally sweet dried figs. With the use low-fat curds, milk and minimum amount of sugar, the calorie content has been reduced substantially.

Soaking Time:  30 Minutes   Preparation Time:     Makes 4 glasses

3 cups chilled low-fat milk(99.7% fat-free)
1 cup sliced bananas
4 tsp sugar
8 dried figs (anjeer) , soaked for 1/2 hour and chopped
8 tbsp fresh low-fat curds (dahi)

For The Garnish
2 cashewnuts (kaju) , cut into halves

  1. Combine all the ingredients and blend in a mixer till smooth.
  2. Pour equal quantities of smoothie in 4 individual glasses and garnish each glass with cashewnut halves. Serve immediately.
