This shake is a great way to start your day, especially during your first trimester when you may have lost your appetite as a result of morning sickness. The natural sweetness of the dates and bananas is enriched by the addition of milk and it provides for all the required calcium, protein and iron to supplement your diet. If you are hungry or simply not in a mood to cook, you can be assured you will get all your nutrients, if you have just one serving of this revitalizer.
- Soak the dates in warm milk for 15 minutes.
- Combine the soaked dates, milk and banana with 4 to 5 cubes of ice and blend in a liquisider.
- Serve immediately.
