Bhel literally means a "mixture". Dahi Bhel is another mixture recipe - a mixture of papadis and pineapple, along with the goodness of beans, curds and of course a melange of chutneys. Tasty, crunchy and chatpata!

Ingredients


15 to 20 Papadis, crushed
1 tbsp chopped pineapple (optional)
1 potato, cubed
1 tbsp finely chopped raw mango
4 tbsp boiled kabuli chana (white chick peas) or boiled green peas
2 to 3 tbsp meethi soonth
1 1/2 to 2 tbsp Green Chutney
1/2 cup curds (dahi)
2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
2 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp chaat masala
salt to taste

Method
  1. Mix the crushed papadis, pineapple, potato, raw mango, Kabuli chana, meethi soonth, green chutney and curds in a bowl.
  2. Sprinkle the cumin seed powder, chilli powder and chaat masala on top.
  3. Serve immediately.
