Ingredients

Method
  1. Beat the egg and sugar together.
  2. Pour in the milk.
  3. Cook in a double boiler or in a basin over hot water.
  4. Cook very gently the mixture just coats the back of a wooden spoon.
  5. Cool and add the vanilla essence.
