Ingredients


mixed vegetables
oil for deep-frying

For the batter
1 cup plain flour (maida)
1/2 cup cornflour
1/4 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp sesame seeds (til)
salt to taste

Method

    For the batter

    1. Mix the flour, cornflour, pepper, sesmae seeds and salts with enough water to make a thick batter coating vegetables

    How to proceed

    1. Dip the vegetables in the batter and deep fry till golden brown.
    2. Drain and serve with an assortment of relishes and dips.

    Tips
    1. Use the freshest vegetables for best results.
    2. Ensure the oil is hot befor frying the vegetables or otherwise you might end up with soggy fritters.
